The Challenge

For Me Fish is a mobile app designed for quick, fresh fish delivery, offering convenience and quality. Users can easily browse various fish types, customize orders, and track real-time delivery. The app ensures high standards with trusted suppliers and freshness-focused logistics. Features like subscriptions, loyalty rewards, and cooking tips add value, making it a go-to platform for instant, high-quality seafood at your doorstep.

Project Process & Timeline

Week 1 User Research & Personas

Conducted user interviews to map delivery expectations, local market pain points, and fresh seafood storage constraints.

Week 2 Interaction Flow mapping

Mapped seamless add-to-basket pathways, weight selection components, and location check warnings.

Week 3 High-Fidelity Interface System

Developed visual components using the clean Urbanist typeface, custom fresh photography card containers, and vibrant branding indicators.

Week 4 Prototype Testing & Handoff

Refined transitions, created developer spec sheets, and handoff resource files.

Customer Empathy & Cart Mechanics

I mapped out the standard seafood consumer's journey, finding that users demand clarity on cleaning options (e.g. whole vs. cleaned slices) and weight specs prior to purchase.

Designing a Seamless Fresh Market

The final interface focuses on visual freshness and quick purchase flows. The landing screen features a clear banner offering first-delivery discounts and a recommended seafood carousel showcasing pricing and cleaning options clearly.

Addressing Location Scopes & Splash Designs

A key challenge was verifying shipping ranges during purchase. Designed an illustrated empty state warning for unsupported delivery pins ("We're not accepting orders from this location!") to prevent drop-off and guide recovery.

Visual Design Specs & Typography

Headings and body text leverage the modern sans-serif Urbanist typeface. It provides a clean, neutral, and readable structure suitable for quick scanning and checkout flows.
